These are challenging times for construction and infrastructure – and challenging times are not new. My focus is on setting up projects for delivery success early by negotiating favourable contractual risk positions aligned with the business’ strategy and market, then, putting in place the frameworks which will make project delivery more straightforward and less reactive.

Over her career, Laura Thomas has worked for the UN, the Supreme Court of Western Australia, in global disputes for a top tier international law firm and for the last five years as an in-house lawyer in the mining and construction industries. Inspired by her diverse experiences, Laura launched Laura Thomas – Legal Advisory with a vision to offer clients commercially pragmatic and legally sound solutions beyond just the black letter of the law.
