These are challenging times for construction and infrastructure – and challenging times are not new.
My focus is on setting up projects for delivery success early by negotiating favourable contractual risk positions aligned with the business’ strategy and market, then, putting in place the frameworks which will make project delivery more straightforward and less reactive. Having worked in private practice and in-house for construction and infrastructure businesses for the past 10 years, I can partner with your business to provide legal support throughout the project life cycle from pre-contracts and tendering, delivery to pre-dispute and dispute advice.
For example, I can:
draft and negotiate upstream and downstream project contracts;
offer presentations on the tips and traps in the contract including drafting template notices and subcontract flow down conditions compliant with contractual obligations;
provide ongoing advice, draft correspondence and attend meetings or negotiations during project delivery; and
offer strategic advice and support in handling disputes if they unfortunately arise.
